We are pleased to welcome you to 2022 the 5th International Conference on Big Data and Smart Computing (ICBDSC2022). Due to the continued impact of COVID-19, we have to hold the conferences online again this year, which is a limited way to support everyone's interaction while avoiding the virus's threat.

Even we can’t meet face to face, but we still can feel our authors’ enthusiasm for supporting this meeting. All the presentations were performed based on the reports from anonymous reviewers qualified in their field, which are divided into the following topics: Software Design and Analysis, Intelligent Business and Information Management, Information Network and Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence and Intelligent Computing, Software and Data Engineering, Geoecology and Information Engineering.
